Events through out the year on The Isle of Wight in 2017

Isle of Wight Festival - a music festival which takes place annually in Newport on Seaclose Park. 8th - 11th June 2017 so far featuring headliners Arcade Fire, Rod Stewart, David Guetta, Run DMC and many more...

Cowes Week - one of the Island's busiest weeks, when 8,500 competitors and more than 100,000 spectators coverage on Cowes for the largest sailing regattas in the world. 29th July - 5th August 2017 ending with a fabulous firework display on the Friday night!

Shanklin Regatta - coinciding with Shanklin's carnival week, the towns regatta features many free afternoon events and races on the beach and esplanade finished with a spectacular firework display. 

Garlic Festival - 19-20th August 2017-  based near Newchurch, arrive hungry to this event so you can try all the garlic flavoured goodies. From hot crusty bread to mussels, lamb, beer and even ice cream!

Isle of Wight Cycling Festival - mix of events and activities to suit all ages and abilities, for hardcore cyclists or just join in with many of the rides around the Island to take in the scenery!

Isle of Wight Scooter Rally - Every August bank holiday thousands of scooter enthusiasts from all over the world descend on the Island to celebrate iconic Italian design and British youth culture.

Walk the Wight - This is the largest sponsored walk in the South and covers the breadth of the Isle of Wight raising money for the Island’s Hospice which cares for over 800 terminally ill patients every year - Sunday 14th May 2017

Walking Festival
- with more than half of the Island recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and 500 miles of well-maintained footpaths, There are over 300 walks, many of which are themed including heritage trails, fossil hunting and even a speed dating walk - 29th Apr through to 14th May 2017
